Bell Equipment
Established in 1954, Bell Equipment is a proudly South African company with over 60 years of experience in the design, manufacture, distribution and support of materials handling equipment.
The Bell Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) is the company's core product. Bell is regarded globally as an ADT specialist and leads ADT technology innovation. It has pioneered ground-breaking innovations such as keyless ignition, HillAssist, Bin Tip Prevention, Auto Park Application, standard Turbo Spin Protection and On-Board Weighing, which are standard features across the company's small and large truck ranges.
The company is driven in all its endeavours to provide the lowest cost per tonne solutions to the construction, mining, timber and sugar industries through research and development efforts, where a sizeable portion of its revenue is invested.
In addition to designing and manufacturing locally to world class quality standards, Bell has strengthened its position as an equipment supplier of choice in Southern Africa through the establishment of strategic dealerships for equipment manufactured by key global manufacturers such as John Deere, Bomag, Liebherr and Finlay.
This has enabled Bell to supply a diverse range of equipment to the African region including wheel loaders, rigid and articulated haulers, excavators, motor graders, dozers, tractor loader backhoes, tri-wheeler rough terrain material handling equipment, a complete range of compaction machinery as well as a material processing product line.
The company has also invested substantially in a global logistics centre, in Johannesburg, as well as the 'best network in Africa' to ensure that it is well positioned to support mining, construction, infrastructure development and agricultural activity in Africa.
Bell Equipment Company South Africa's manufacturing plant and head office is situated in Alton, Richards Bay, South Africa while Bell Equipment Sales Africa has its head office at Jet Park, Gauteng. Bell also has a factory in Eisenach, Germany along with an extensive network of customer service centres and dealers across the globe.
