BEKA Schréder is excited to announce the launch of its Augmented Reality (AR) App, a first in the world with street lighting applications. It offers an arsenal of scaled and accurately detailed products in the palm of your hands.

BEKA Schréder’s App is the first in the world to use augmented reality to prove the principles of street lighting, by allowing the user to see the difference in photometry relating to optics.

The AR App allows users in remote areas to see and interact with BEKA Schréder products, as if they were really there in front of them, without the need for a physical sample.

What the BEKA Schréder App provides:

  • The App allows the user to augment reality, in real time, by placing scaled models of BEKA Schréder’s products and poles in any environment, indoors and outdoors.
  • It allows the user to see the difference in photometry regarding optics, by switching these products on and off in the augmented reality environment. This will assist the user in clearly understanding why optics are so vital when used with LED technology.
  • It allows the user to zoom in on special features of the products to view finer details; this would assist in understanding how the product stands out from others.
  • It allows the user to take a snapshot of the augmented reality scene, and instantly e-mail the image.

The BEKA Schréder App is available for download free of charge on the Apple iStore and Google Play Store (search for “BEKA Schréder AR”). For the best user experience, devices such as the iPad Pro, iPhone 8 or later, Samsung Tablet, Samsung Galaxy S8+ or devices with similar specifications are recommended.

BEKA Schréder locally develops and manufactures LED lighting products, designed and suitable for local conditions. We are very proud to be bringing you cutting-edge technology, reaffirming us as leaders in innovation.
