TORONTO (miningweekly.com) – Vancouver-based Hawthorne Gold has appointed Michael Petrina as vice president of mining, the company announced on Thursday.
Petrina was most recently operations GM for Adanac Molybdenum.
Hawthorne is exploring for gold on three properties in British Columbia, Canada.
The company aims to start production at the past-producing Table Mountain property as early as next year.
However, the firm added on Thursday that it “is evaluating its operations in response to the current conditions in the financial markets”.
