JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – ASX-listed Austral Gold has started a bankable feasibility study (BFS) on its Guanaco project, in Chile.
This followed the announcement of on on-site resource of nearly one million ounces of gold and gold equivalent at the project.
Austral Gold has mandated project management company AMEC as the lead consultant to undertake this BFS, which would start immediately.
The Guanaco BFS would be managed out of AMEC’s Santiago de Chile office which was its largest mining and metal office, with over 500 employees.
