JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – A mineworker at African Rainbow Minerals’ Khumani mine, near Kathu, in the Northern Cape, was killed on Friday morning, the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) reported.

The union said in a statement that the worker was killed when his truck collided with another heavily loaded vehicle.

ARM could not immediately be reached for comment.
