JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) – Platinum producer Anooraq Resources has appointed De Wet Schutte as interim CFO, effective from December 1.
Schutte’s appointment came after Iemrahn Hassen resigned to pursue other business interests.
Schutte is a qualified chartered accountant, with some 11 years‚ experience in the mining and industrial sectors. He has previously held executive positions at Renova Investments, South African gold producer Harmony Gold, and steelmaker ArcelorMittal.
His responsibilities covered corporate transactions, project development and financial reporting in a listed environment.
