JOHANNESBURG (miningweekly.com) - Aim-listed African Copper is searching for a general manager for its Mowana mine, in Botswana, after it had terminated the contract of the recently appointed manager.
In November, African Copper announced that Ralph Rossouw would join the Mowana mine as general manager from December 1.
However, the company said on Tuesday that the appointment was subject to a probationary period of three months and that it had terminated the contract.
The London-listed miner would make an announcement on the position in due course, it said.
The Mowana copper mine was restarted in August.
